Kelli earned a full ride to Long Beach State where the team went 32-1 as she redshirted her freshman year, only losing to Stanford in the National Championships. A freak collarbone injury in the preseason of her second LBSU season sidelined her again. Following that season, Kelli transferred to Santa Clara University’s team in 2004 (as a DS/Libero due to her collarbone restrictions) but unfortunately re-injured her collarbone before the season again, which ended her career. She is in the Mitty Hall of Fame along with her sisters, dad, and other family members.
Kelli has a BS in Psychology from Santa Clara University, lives locally with her husband and their three daughters. Kelli has coached at MVVC for the last three years, taking home a silver medal at AAU girls junior nationals with her 12s team.
