Vicki Viso is a decorated volleyball player known for her strong leadership, competitive drive and playful energy on the court. A standout Setter and Outside Hitter at Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, CA, she helped lead her team to two Division II State Championships and a Silver finish, earning her Division II State MVP honors twice – including once during a hard-fought runner-up season. In 1996, she was named Saint Francis High School’s Athlete of the Year.
A three-year varsity starter and call-up at the end of her freshman year, Vicki made a lasting impact at both the High School and Club levels. On the national stage, she earned First Team All-American honors twice, and brought home both a Gold, Silver and Bronze medals at the Nationals / Junior Olympics.
Vicki continued her athletic and academic journey at UC Santa Barbara, where she was recognized as the Most improved Player in 1996-1997 and named a Scholar- Athlete in 1997 – a testament to her dedication both on and off the court. Vicki is a graduate of UC Santa Barbara, majoring in Asian Studies with a minor and focus on Japanese.
Vicki was recently inducted into the Saint Francis High School Hall of Fame in 2024.
Off the court, Vicki has built a thriving career. Vicki runs a successful insurance business and has invested in many businesses from Community Banks, Restaurants and Private Companies. Vicki is known for her sharp instincts and entrepreneurial vision. Vicki continues to advise and support ventures that align with her values of integrity, growth, innovation and community. Vicki lives in the Bay Area with her husband and 2 kids.
Vicki also met Kerri Walsh Jennings, when they played Club Volleyball together at the age of 10 with The Bay Club!
